Mrs. Canfield is a powerhouse in writing federal grants in Oklahoma Indian Country having brought in over $40 million in awards to tribal communities. She has a background in tribal justice/courts, medical operational systems and staffing, and clinic/hospital accreditation.
Vickie excels under federal regulations and by helping tribal nations assess their justice systems, policing and reporting, and getting their clinics and hospitals credentialed and accredited for service delivery. She has spent most of her career working with doctors and judges to ensure tribal governments have the best staff, operational policies, and reporting mechanisms.
Many federal agencies (Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, and Indian Health Service) rely on Vickie to review their tribal grants for national funding.
