Mr. Thomas served 30 years in the U. S. Army and recently retired from active duty as a Staff Sergeant. Having the engineering experience to plan, layout, and perform structural sheet metal work on aircrafts and weapons systems on C-5, C-130s and MC-130, while in flight and on ground, Mr. Thomas is familiar with working high risk critical systems under pressure with respect to electrical systems, landing gear, weapons bays, cargo doors torque decks, windshields, and skin components of aircrafts.
Critical thinking on the job and on his feet, Mr. Thomas was responsible for in-flight repairs as well as on the ground and the federal contracting requirements to ensure working aircraft for the Army and joint Air Force missions. Overseeing the ordering of aircraft systems, parts, and components for $55 million dollar aircraft. He was a flight engineer instructor and loadmaster for 16 years with the Oklahoma Army National Guard and flew critical front-line missions during two wars (Iraq and Afghanistan) and other support operations.
Chris served as Crew Chief for the U.S. Air Force Reserves, 507th Air Refueling Wing out of Tinker Air Force Base and the U.S. Air Force and was in the 7th Special Operations Squadron in Rhein-Main Air Base in Germany.
Chris and his wife Norma operate a fine Mexican food restaurant in Georgia and come home to Oklahoma in the fall to spend time with family, hunt, and fish.
